RECOMMENDATION:
1. City Council adopt Resolution No. 15-08 to be read by title only and further reading
waived: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA
CALIFORNIA, CHANGING THE START TIME FOR THE CITY COUNCIL STUDY
SESSION OCCURRING ON THE SECOND TUESDAY OF EACH MONTH.
BACKGROUND:
Mayor Mensinger has suggested changing the start time from 4:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. for the
City Council study session occurring on the second Tuesday of each month.
FISCAL REVIEW:
There is no fiscal impact for implementing the proposed change in the start time.
LEGAL REVIEW:
The City Attorney has approved the resolution as to form.
CONCLUSION:
A change to the start time of the study session to 5:00 p.m. must be adopted by resolution.

RESOLUTION NO. 15-08
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA,
CALIFORNIA, CHANGING THE START TIME FOR THE CITY COUNCIL STUDY
SESSION OCCURRING ON THE SECOND TUESDAY OF EACH MONTH
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the City Council endeavors to ensure that the City Council may
efficiently conduct the people's business; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to change the start time of the City Council's
study sessions which occur on the second Tuesday of each month from 4:30 p.m. to 5:00
p.m.; and
WHEREAS, this resolution amends Resolution No. 05-8, Resolution No. 05-55,
Resolution No. 07-80, Resolution No. 11-3, Resolution No. 11-50, Resolution No. 12-21,
Resolution No. 13-56, and Resolution No. 15-02.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF COSTA MESA:
1. The City Council will hold regular study session meetings on the second
Tuesday of each month at the hour of 5:00 p.m.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that this resolution shall take effect and be in full
force immediately after its adoption by the City Council.
