Amount Requested: $45,000 for program staff and related program operating costs. CM Residents to be Assisted: 18 Committee Recommendation: $20,000 Families Forward — Housing P Proposed Service: Amount Requested: CM Residents to be Assisted: Committee Recommendation ram The program will provide shelter and support services for homeless Costa Mesa families. $10,000 for program staff. 14 $10,000 Mercv House — Homelessness Prevention Proeram & Ragid Re-housin Proposed Service: Program will provide rental assistance to qualified households to prevent the loss of housing, and will also help place those already homeless into permanent housing. Amount Requested: $40,000 for program staff salaries, related program/admin costs and direct financial assistance. CM Residents to be Assisted: 20 Committee Recommendation: $20,000 SENIOR SERVICES Communitv Senior Serve - Contareeate Meals Proposed Service: The program provides seniors with hot lunch 5 days per week at the Costa Mesa Senior Center. Amount Requested: $20,000 for raw food cost. CM Residents to be Assisted: 200 Committee Recommendation: $12,500 Community Senior Serve - Home Meal Delivery Proposed Service: This meals on wheels program will provide food and quick assessment for homebound seniors to ensure health and safety. Amount Requested: $20,000 for raw food cost. CM Residents to be Assisted: 90 Committee Recommendation: $15,000 City of Costa Mesa - Senior Social Services Proposed Service: Counseling and referral services for seniors provided by social worker at the Costa Mesa Senior Center.
