HomeMy WebLinkAbout74-46 Industrial OrdinanceORDINANCE NO. �6 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 73-43 OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA REGARDING PERMITTED AND CONDITIONAL USES IN THE ML, LIMITED INDUSTRIAL; MG, GENERAL INDUSTRIAL; AND MP, INDUSTRIAL PARK; DISTRICTS AND EXTENDING THE PROVI- SIONS OF THE M1 AND M2 DISTRICTS UNTIL JANUARY 1, 1975. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa finds and declares that changes in the permitted and condi- tional uses in the Industrial Districts are necessary to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Ordinance. The City Council further finds and declares that these amendments will serve to promote the health, safety, and general welfare of the citizens of the community. Accordingly, there is herewith adopted amendments to Ordinance No. 73-43 of the City of Costa Mesa which shall be as follows: SECTION 2. The provisions of the M1 and M2 Districts in the Costa Mesa Municipal Code shall be extended to January 1, 1975. SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force thirty (30) days from and after its passage, and prior to the expiration of fifteen (15) days from the passage thereof, shall be published once in the Orange Coast Daily Pilot, a newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in the City of Costa Mesa, together with the names of the members of the City Council voting for and against the same.
