HomeMy WebLinkAbout193 - Rezone Petition No. 42; Portion of Lots 7-9-28-30, All of Lots 8-29 of Fairview FarmsORDINANCE N0. / 9FJ AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3.2 OF ARTICLE III OF ORDINANCE N0, 32 OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, ENTITLED: "AN ORDTNANCE OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA ESTABLISHING LAND CLASS- IFICATIONS IN DISTRICTS WITHIN THE INCORPORATED TERRITORY OF THE CT_TY OF COSTA MESA, REGULATING THE USE OF PROPERTY THERE- IN, ADOPTING A MAP OF SAID DISTRICTS, DEFINING THE TERMS USED IN THIS ORDINANCE, PROVIDING FOR THE ADJUSTMENT, ENFORCEMENT AND AMENDMENT HEREOF, PRESCRIBTNG PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION HERE- OF, AND REPEALING ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES INCONSIST- ENT WITH AND IN CONFLICT HEREWITH." The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does ordain as follows: SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 3.2 of Article III of Ordinance No. 32 of the City of Costa Mesa, all that portion of the following described premises is hereby placed and included in the R-2 Zone, to -wit: The East one hundred feet (1001) of Lots 9 and 28; all of Lots 8 and 29; and the West thirty-five feet (35') of Lots 7 and 30, Tract No. S7, as shown on a map recorded in Book 10, page 3, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California. Said property is also known as Tentative Tract No. 2788 SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force thirty (30) days from and. after its passage; and prior to the expiration of fifteen (15) days from the passage thereof, this Ordinance, together with the names of the members of the City Council voting for and against the same, shall be published once in the COSTA MESA GLOBE -HERALD and PILOT, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in the City of Costa Mesa.
