WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa a certain drainage easement described as follows: and The Southerly 6,00 feet of Lot 157 as shown on a map of Tract No. 3363, recorded in Book 112, Pages 37 to 48 inclusive of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of the County of Orange, State of California; in the City of Costa Mesa, County of Orange, State of California; WHEREAS, the relocation of drainage facilities in the hereinabove described easement causes, creates and renders a certain drainage easement, hereinafter par- ticularly described, that is not now used for drainage purposes, will not be required for drainage purposes, and the public interest will best be served by the vacation and abandonment of said unused drainage easement hereinafter described; NOW, THREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1 The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby declare its intention to vacate that certain drainage easement described as follows: Those portions of Lots 155 and 156 shown as a 6.00 foot drainage easement on a map of Tract No. 3363, recorded in Book 112, pages 37 to 48 inclusive, of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of the County of Orange, State of California, in the City of Costa Mesa, County of Orange, State of California, and reference is hereby made to a map on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Costa TTesa for further particulars as to said vacation. SEC TION 2 Monday, the 6th day of July, 1959, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock p.m., in the Chambers of the City Council at the City Hall, 695 West 19th Street, Costa Mesa, is hereby fixed as the time and place for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation. SECTION 3 The City Manager of the City of Costa Mesa is hereby directed to cause notices of the said proposed drainage easement vacation to be posted conspicuously along the easement proposed to be vacated at least ten (10) days before the date of said hearing. Said notices shall be posted not more than three hundred (300) feet apart, and in no event shall less than three (3) be posted. SECTION 4 This Ordinance, together with the names of the members of the City Council voting for and against the same shall be published once in the GLOBE -HERALD and PILOT, a newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in the City of Costa Mesa, County of Orange. This Ordinance shall take effect upon the completion of publication. PASSED AND ADOPTED, this 15th day of June, 1959.
