AN ORDTNAi�CF OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA DECLARING ITS TNTFNTTON
TO ORDER. THE VACATICN OFA 11VALKWAY LYING BE'P�JEEN LOT 11 AND
LOT 12 OF TRACT NO. 2947 IN SAID CITY.
WHEREAS, a certain public walkway, eight feet (81) in width, lies between
Lot No. 11 and Lot No. 12 of Tract No. 2947, as shown on a map of said tract
recorded in Miscellaneois Traps Book 94, page 18, records of Orange County, Calif-
ornia; and
WHEREAS, said walkway is not now used for public street purposes, will
not be required for public street purposes, and public interest will best be served
by the abandonment of the same; and
fellows:
VIFEI?EAS, this Council has received requests that said walkway be abandoned;
NOW, TH7PFFORE, the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does ordain as
S1,(`PTnT\r 1. The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby declare
its intention to vacate that certain public walkway described as follows:
A public walkway 81 in width and 133.06, in length,
lying between Lot No. 11 and. Lot No. 12 of Tract
No. 2947, as shown on a map of said tract recorded
in Miscellaneous Yaps Book 94, page 18, records of
Orange County, California,
and reference is hereby made to said map for further particulars as to said vacation.
SEC TICN 2. Monday, the 20th day of July, 1959, at the ho-ir of 7:30 o'clock
P.m.. in the Council Chambers at the Costa Mesa City Hall, 695 West 19th Street,
Costa Mesa, California, is hereby fixed as the time and place for hearing all persons
interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation.
SECTION 3. The City Manager of the City of Costa Mesa is hereby directed
to cause notices of the said nrcncsed walkway vacation to be posted conspicuously
along that said walkway at least ten (10) days before the date of said hearing. Said
notices shall be posted not mare than three hundred (300) feet apart, blit in no event
less than three (3) shall be posted.
SECTY,N 4. This Ordinance, together with the nares of the members of the
City Council vot_ng for and against the same shall be published once in the GLOBE -
HERALD and PILOT, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in the
City of Costa Mesa, County of Orange. This Ordinance shall take effect upon the
completion of publication.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
COSTA MESA DECLARING ITS IN-
TENTION TO ORDER THE VACA-
TION OF A WALKWAY LYING BE-
TWEEN LOT 11 AND LOT 12 OF
TRACT NO. 2947 IN SAID CITY.
WHEREAS, a certain public walk-
