HomeMy WebLinkAbout256 - Minimum Floor Elevationfollows: ORDINANCE NO. A G AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF ORDINANCE N0, 110 OF SAID CITY. The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby ordain as follows: SECTION 1. Section 3 of Ordinance No. 110 is hereby amended to read as "Section 510. All structures within the City shall be built to a minimum floor heght elevation of six inches (611) above the centerline of the adjacent street. EXCEPTION: Unless the contour of the building, site, together with the contour of the adjoining lots, or lot and street, have a natural drainage onto a public street, alley or storm drain system without diversion onto adjacent private property." SECTION 2. ENACTvENT. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force thirty (30) days from and after its passage. Prior to the expiration of fifteen (15) days from the passage thereof, this Ordinance, together with the names of the members of the City Council voting for and against the same, shall be published once in the GLOBE -HERALD and PILOT, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in the City of Costa Mesa.
