HomeMy WebLinkAbout279 - Declaring Fair Drive a "Through" StreetORDINANCE NO. 279 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA DECLARING FAIR DRIVE BETWEEN HARBOR BOULEVARD AND FAIRVIEW AVENUE A THROUGH STREET AND AMENDING SECTION 171 OF ARTICLE XIV OF ORDINANCE N0. 44. The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby ordain as follows: SECTION 1. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 80 of Article VI of Ordinance No. 44 of the City of Costa Mesa, FAIR DRIVE, between Harbor Boulevard and Fairview Avenue, is hereby declared to be a through street. SECTION 2. Section 171 of Article XIV of Ordinance No. 44 of the City of Costa Mesa is hereby amended by the addition of the following designated stop inter- sections: "At the intersection of Carnegie Avenue south bound at Fair Drive. At the intersection of Fordham Drive north and south bound at Fair Drive. At the intersection of Loyola Road north and south bound at Fair Drive. At the intersection of Villanova Road north bound at Fair Drive. At the intersection of Columbia Road south bound at Fair Drive. SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force thirty (30) days from and after its passage, and prior to the expiration of fifteen (15) days from its passage shall be published once in the GLOBE -HERALD and PILOT, a newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in the City of Costa Mesa, together with the names of the members of the City Council voting for and against the same.
