HomeMy WebLinkAbout282 - Warning for Dog Violations, Amends ORD 188ORDINANCE NO. 12 9 wZ AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING ARTICLE III OF ORDINANCE NO. 188. The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does ordain as follows: SECTION 1. Section 2 of Article III of Ordinance No. 188 is hereby amended to read as follows: "SECTION 1 <A DUTY OF POUND14ASTM TO GIVE WARNING. Whenever the Pound --- master shall observe any dog within the City of Costa Mesa barkint, howling, or growling so as to affect public peace, security, health, quietude, welfare or safety of any person or person5, or observe any dog running or charging at or after any person or vehicle, or damaging or molesting private or public property-, or roaming or running at large upon private or public property, or upon receipt by the Poundmaster of a written complaint signed by two or more persons setting forth that any dog committed any of the acts set forth above, the Poundmaster shall give the owner of such dog, or to the person having possession or control of said. dog, a written warning in substantially the following form, to wit: CITY OF COSTA MESA WARNING You are hereby warned that that certain dog owned by you or under your control or in your possessi^n, described as description of dog was, on the day of , 1Q,_, at (place) co mnitting the following act(s): Barking ) so as to affect public peace,) a . . n , .
