AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER THE VACATION OF A CERTAIN UNNAMED STREET LYING WESTERLY OF BRISTOL STREET IN THE BERRY TRACT. WHEREAS, a certain unnamed street, 66.00 feet in width, lies westerly of Bristol Street in the Berry Tract, as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 30, page 74 of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California; and WHEREAS, said unnamed street is not now used for public purposes, will not be required for public street purposes, and public interest will best be served by the abandonment of the same; and WHEREAS, this Council has received requests that said unnamed street be abandoned; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby ordain as follows: SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby declare its intention to vacate that certain unnamed public street described as follows: That certain unnamed street, 66.00 feet wide, lying within Lot 2, Lot 3, and Lot 4 of Block "F" and Lot 7, Lot 8, and Lot 9 of Block "E" of the Berry Tract, as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 30, page 74 of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California, and westerly of a line parallel to and 60.00 feet northeasterly of the centerline of Bristol Street, as described in deeds to the County of Orange recorded in Book 1928, page 274 and Book 1945, page 372 of Official Records of Orange County, California, and reference is hereby made to a map of said area on file in the office of the City Clerk for further particulars as to said vacation. SECTION 2. Monday, the 7th day of March, 1)60, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock p.m., in the Council Chambers at the City Hall, 695 West 19th Street, Costa Mesa, California, is hereby fixed as the time and place for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation. SECTION 3. The City Manager of the City of Costa Mesa is hereby directed to cause notices of the said proposed street vacation to be posted conspicuously along that said street at least ten (10) days before the date of said hearing. Said notices shall be posted not more than three hundred (300) feet apart, but in no event shall less than three (3) be posted. SECTION 4. This Ordinance, together with the names of the members of the members of the City Council voting for and against the same shall be published once in the GLOBE -HERALD and PILOT, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in the City of Costa Mesa, County of Orange. This Ordinance shall take effect upon the completion of publication. PASSED AND ADOPTED, this /.3 day of A;'bjl va-K y , 1960.
