HomeMy WebLinkAbout296 - Setbacks for Fairview, Harbor, and Victoria StORDINANCE NO. 296 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA ESTABLISHING SETBACKS FOR FAIRVIEW AVENUE FROM VICTORIA STREET TO WAKEHAM AVENUEP FOR HARBOR BOULEVARD FROM WILSON STREET TO 19TH"STREET; FOR VICTORIA STREET FROM NEWPORT BOULEVARD TO HARBOR BOULEVARD. The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby ordain as follows: SECTION 1. Section 9296.3 of Division XV of Article 2 of CHAPTER IX of the Municipal Code of the City of Costa Mesa is hereby amended by the addition thereto of sub -sections Z-11, Z--12, and Z 13, as follows: "(Z-11) Notwithstanding any other provisions of this Article, the setback for any structure on the following described properties shall be as follows: For the properties situated on Fairview Avenue, between Victoria Street and Wakeham Avenue, sixty feet (60') from the centerline of Fairview Avenue." "(Z-12) Notwithstanding any other provisions of this Article, the setback for any structure on the following described properties shall be as follows: For the properties situated on Harbor Boulevard; between Wilson Street and West 13th Street, sixty feet (601) from the centerline of Harbor Boulevard". "(Z-13) Notwithstanding any other provisions of this Article, the setback for any structure on the following described properties shall be as follows: For the properties situated on Victoria Street, between Harbor Boulevard and Newport Boulevard, sixty feet (601) from the centerline of Victoria Street." SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force thirty (30) days from and after its passage, and prior to the expiration of fifteen (15) days from its passage shall be published once in the GLOBE -HERALD and PILOT, a newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in the City of Costa Mesa, together with the names of the members of the City Council voting for and against the same PASSED AND ADOPTED, this'l4th day of March, 1960. The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby ordain as follows: SECTION 1. (Z-13) Not withstanding any other provisions of this Article, the setback for any structure on the following de- scribed properties shall be as follows: For the properties situated on Vic- toria Street, between Harbor Boule- vard and Newport Boulevard, sixty feet (60') from the centerline of Victoria Street." SECTION 2.
