AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA
CHANGING THE ZONING OF A PORTION OF THE SOUTH ONE-HALF OF
SECTION 33, TOWNSHIP 5 SOUTH, RANGE 10 WEST., S.B.B.& M.
FROM M-1 AND M -1-A TO R-1.
The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 9230.2 of Division III,
Article 2, Chapter IX, of the Municipal Code of the City of Costa Mesa, all that
portion of the following described premises is hereby placed and included in the R-1
Zone, to wit:
That portion of the South one-half of Section 33, Township 5 South,
Range 10 West, S.B.B.& M., described as follows:
Beginning at the southeast corner of Tract No. 3625, as shown on a map
thereof recorded in BOOK 130, pages 7, 8, 9, and 10, of Miscellaneous
Maps, Records of Orange County, California; thence northerly along the
East line of said Tract No. 3625 and the northerly prolongation thereof,
to the southerly line of the Orange County Flood Control District right
of way; thence easterly along the southerly line of the said Flood Control
District right of way, 260 feet, more or less; thence southerly, parallel
with the East line of said Tract No. 3625 and its northerly prolongation,
1524 feet to the southerly line of Section 33, Township 5 South, Range 10
West, S.B.B.&M.; thence westerly along said southerly line 260 feet to
the point of beginning.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force thirty (30)
days from and after its passage, and prior to the expiration of fifteen (15) days
from the passage thereof, this Ordinance, together with the names of the members of
the City Council voting for and against the same, shall be published once in the
GLOBE -HERALD and PILOT, a newspaper of general circulation, printed and published
in the City of Costa Mesa.
