The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby ordain as follows: SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 9230.2 of Division III, Article 2, Chapter IX, of the Municipal Code of the City of Costa Mesa, all that portion of the following described premises is hereby placed and included in the R-1 Zone, to -wit: That portion of Lots 3, 4 and 5 of Block D of the Berry Tract in the Rancho Santiago de Santa Ana, in the County of Orange, State of California, as sAid tract is shown on map recorded in Book 9, page 6 of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California, and of the east half of the unnamed road adjoining the north half of Lot 5, abandoned by order of the Board of Supervisors of said Orange County on December 17, 1935, described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the West line of said Lot 4 with the centerline of Paularino Avenue; thence •along said centerline South 890 49' 35" East 520.00 feet; thence parallel with said West line of Lot 4 North 000 29' 07" East 998.00 feet; thence North 90 04' 30" East 199.29 feet; thence North 600 15' 53" East 74.92 feet; thence North 290 44' 07" West 238.99 feet to a tangent curve concave southwesterly and having a radius of 450.00 feet; thence northwesterly along said curve through a central angle of 20 07' 42" a distance of 16.72 feet; thence leaving said curve, North 890 37' 57" West 1013.41 feet to the West line of the east half of said unnamed road adjoining the North half of Lot 5; thence along said West line South 00 29' 25" West 628.59 feet to the westerly prolongation of the South line of said North half of Lot 5; thence South 890 43' 46" East 527.94 feet to the southeast corner of said North half of Lot 5; thence South 0 29' 07" West 827.69 feet to the point of beginning. SECTION 2. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 9230.2 of Division III, Article 2, Chapter IX, of the Municipal Code of the City of Costa Mesa, all that portion of the following described premises is hereby placed and included in the M-1 Zone, to -wit: The South half of Lot 1 in Block D of the Berry Tract, as shown on a map recorded in Book 9, page 6 of Miscell- aneous Records of Los Angeles County, California, in the City of Costa Mesa, County of Orange, State of California. SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force thirty (30) days from and after its passage, and prior to the expiration of fifteen (15) days from the passage thereof, this Ordinance, together with the names of the members of the City Council voting for and against the same, shall be published once in the GLOBE -HERALD and PILOT, a newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in the City of Costa Mesa.
