O r AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY CONTIGUOUS TO THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, IN THE COUNTY OF ORANGE, KNOWN AND DESIGNATED AS "PAULARINO NO. 3 ANNEXATION The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby ordain as follows: SECTION 1. That the annexation to the City of Costa Mesa, County of Orange, State of California, of that certain uninhabited territory, contiguous to said City, is hereby approved and the said territory is hereby ordained to be annexed to and made a part of the City of Costa Mesa, County of Orange, State of California; that said territory, known and designated as "PAULARINO NO. 3 ANNEXA`fION", is particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point in the existing; boundary of the City of Costa Mesa, said point being the intersection of the easterly line of Lot 5, Block D, Berry Tract, as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 9, page 6 of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California, with a line 200.00 feet southerly of and parallel to the North line of said Block D; thence westerly along said paralkel line 528.00 feet more or less to the westerly line of said Lot 5, said westerly line being the centerline of the 4 rod road; thence southerly along said westerly line 628.00 feet; thence easterly parallel to said northerly line of Block D, 528 feet more or less, to the easterly line of said Lot 5; thence northerly along said easter- ly line 628.00 feet to the point of beginning. SECTION 2. That the boundary of the City of Costa Mesa, County of Orange, State of California, be, and the same is hereby, altered to include the above de- scribed territory into the City of Costa Mesa, County of Orange, State of California. SECTION 3. That the proceedings for annexation herein ordained are had and taken under and pursuant to the provisions of an act of the Legislature of the State of California designated and referred to as the "Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939` SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force thirty (30) days from and after its passage, and prior to the expiration of fifteen (15) days from its passage shall be published once in the GLOBE - HERALD and PILOT, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in the City of Costa Mesa, together with the names of the members of the City Council voting for and against the same.
