Home My WebLink About384 - Speed Limits - Increasing & Decreasing in Certain ZonesORDINANCE NO. 384 AN CRDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA AMENDING SECTIONS 3461 AND 3462 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA INCREASING AND DECREASING THE SPEED LIMITS IN CERTAIN ZONES. The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby ordain as follows: Section 1. Section 3461 of the Municipal Code of the City of Costa Mesa is, after a determination made upon the basis of an engineering and traffic survey, amended by adding thereto the following named streets on which the prima facie speed limit shall be as hereinafter set forth: Name of Street or Portion Affected: Limit Declared Prima Facie Speed Fair Drive from Harbor Boulevard to Fairview Avenue Victoria Street from Placentia avenue to Newport Avenue 17th Street from Superior Avenue to West City Limits 18th Street from Anaheim Avenue to West City Limits 19th Street from Anaheim Avenue to Whittier Avenue Placentia Avenue from South City Limits to Wilson Street Pomona Avenue from 16th Street to Wilson Street Anaheim Avenue from Superior Avenue to Bay Street Superior Avenue from Newport Avenue to South City Limits 17th Street from Newport Avenue to Irvine Avenue Irvine Avenue from 16th Street to North City Limits -1- 35 mph 35 mph 35 mph 35 mph 35 mph 35 mph 35 mph 35 mph 35 mph 35 mph 35 mph Section 2.
