A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS
INTENTION TO ORDER THE VACATION OF A
RESERVATION EASEMENT FOR PUBLIC UTILITIES IN
LOT 1, BLOCK C, BERRY TRACT.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby declare its
intention to vacate their interest in a reservation easement for public utilities in Lot 1, Block C,
Berry Tract, to Polygon South Coast Associates, a Washington limited partnership, more
particularly described as follows:
That portion of Lot 1, Block "C" of the Berry Tract, in the City of Costa Mesa,
County of Orange, State of California, per map recorded in Book 9, Page 6,
Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, lying within Parcel 1 of
Resolution No. 76-130 per document recorded October 11, 1976, in Book 11919,
Page 422 of Official Records, in the office of the County Recorder of Orange
County.
SECTION 2. Monday, the 4th day of March, 1996, at 6:30 p.m., in the Council
Chambers of City Hall, 77 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa, California, is hereby fixed as the time and
place for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation.
SECTION 3. These proceedings shall be conducted pursuant to the provisions of Section
8300 et seq. of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California.
SECTION 4. The City Manager of the City of Costa Mesa is hereby directed to cause
notices of the said proposed vacation to be conspicuously posted along said strips of land for at
least two (2) weeks before the date of said hearing. Said notices shall be posted not more than
three hundred (300) feet apart, but in no event shall fewer than three (3) notices be posted.
SECTION 5. This Resolution shall be published twice in a newspaper of general
circulation, printed and published in the City of Costa Mesa, Orange County, California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of February, 1996.
