HomeMy WebLinkAbout96-44 - Establishing New Classification of Master Police Officer for Classifications Represented by CMPARESOLUTION NO. & - 4 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 95-99 BY ESTABLISHING THE NEW CLASSIFICATION OF MASTER POLICE OFFICER FOR CLASSIFICATIONS REPRESENTED BY THE COSTA MESA POLICE ASSOCIATION. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE, AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The following job classification is hereby placed under the Sworn Police Pay Schedule at the pay range and monthly rates of pay specified, effective April 28, 1996. The monthly rate of pay may also be in two and one-half percent (2.5 %) increments between the monthly minimum and maximum pay steps. In addition, the City pays the employees' nine percent (9%) retirement contribution to the Public Employees' Retirement System (PERS).
