The City council of the City of hosts Moss, docs ordain as follows:
Section 1.

6:00 a.m. The provisions of this ordinance shallnot apply to a minor
accompanied by his parent, gasrdisn or other adult pewees having the
care and custody of said minor or when said, minor is sagaged upon an
emergency or other legitimate business under direction of or directed
by his parent, guardian or other adult person having the care and
custody of said minor.
Section 2.

person having the care and cust$4 of a minor ander the age of eighteen
(18) years shall knowin4y permit such minor to violate the provisions
of the foregoing section.
It shall not constitute a defense hereto that such parent,
guardian or other person having the care and custody of a minor coming
within the provisions of the foregoing section dill not have knowledge
of the presence of said minor in or upon aaty streets, alleys, highwejre,
roads, public places, vacant lots, or other ussapervised places in
violation of the preceding section.

and empowered to demand information from any person who he has reasonable
anuse to believe comes within the provisions of this ordinance and who
is faaad violating the provisions of section 1 hereof, and,upon the
failure of such person to give or furnish any or all of said pertinent
information, any such officer is hereby empowered and authorized to
tame such person into custody, tate his to his hose, or communicate with
his parents, guardian or other adult person having the care and custody
of such person and demand the information hersinbefore required to be
given. If sash person so taken into oustedy is a person coming within
the provisions of Section 1 hereof, any such law enforcement officer is
hereby authorized and empowered to demand of the parents, guardian or
other adult person having the care and custody of such minor that they
take such minor to his home. The failure of any such parent, guardian
or other adxlt person having the care and aiotody of such minor to
furnish the information hersinabove required or to take such minor home
when so demanded by any lams enforcement officer is hereby declared to
be a misdemeanor, and such parent, guardian or other adult person
having the care and aastody of such minor shall be punished as herein-
after provided. The provisions of this section shall not apply to a
parent, guardian or other admit person having the oars and custody of
a minor where the minor is legally marrieds but said minor nevertheless
shall remain subject to the provisions of this ordinanas.
Section 4,

not apply to any minor in the military service of the United States.
