WITEIN THE CITY OF COSTA MESA
WHEREAS, they City Council, City of Costa Mesa, has apprmed the
Variance Application for the Harbor Trinity Baptist Church to permit the construc-
tion of a church bnxiid3r�gg on the nortlumat cc Tyler of Baker Avenue and Fairvievi
Road; and
WHERFAS, the City of Cost& Hasa has appro, ed Tract Map No, 26719 thus
accepting two (2) aalleya designated respectively as ALLEr "A" and A= nB",
located on said norLhw9st corner of Baker Avenue and Fairview Road, on the land to
be used by said Harbor Trinity Baptist Ch -=ch for church purposes; and
ir7fiERW, said ALLEY "A" and ALLEY OW are of no use whatsoever to the
City, ae- are not now used for street or alley purposes; and
�WFIWAS, the City Council has received a request that said ALLEY "A"
and AILEr "B" be abandoned.

Nt% , TMEF'ORE, the City Council, City of Costa Mesa, does ordain as
SECTION 1, The City Council oa the City of Costa Mesa does hereby
declare its intention to vacate those certain alleys, described respectively as
ALLEY "A" and ALLEY "Q", :•Tact No. 2671, which alleys are described as follows:
"ALLEY "A" - That certain alley 200 in width lying southerly of
and adjoining.Lota 197 - 201 inclusive, Tract
No. 2671, 3n the City of Costa Mesa, County of
Orange, State of California, as shown on a map
recorded in BDok 86, Pages 30, 31 and 32 of Mis-
cellaneous Maps,\ Records of Orange County, State
of California.
ALLEY "B" - That certain alley 201 in width lying westerly of
and adjoining Lot No. 202, Tract No. 2071, in
the City of Costas Meaa, County of Orme, State
of California, as shown on a MV recorded it Book
86, Pages 300 31 and 32 of Miscellaneous Maps,
Records of Orange Couity, California."
SECTION 2. TuesdW, the 44th dEV of Septembar, 1956, at the hour of
700 p.m., in the Chambers of the City Council at the Justice Court, Newport Beach
Judicial District, 567 West 18th Street, Costa. Mesa, California, is 'hweby fixed as
the time and place for hearing all persons interest -ed in or objecting to the pro-
-
posed vacation.
SFJCTION 3. The City Manager of the City- of Costa Meru is hereby
directed to cause notices of the said proposed street vacation to be posted conspicu-
oust/ along that part of the street proposed to be vacated, at least ten (10) days
before the date of said hearing. Said notices shall be posted not more than three
hundred (300) feet apart, but in no event less than three (3) shall be posted.
SECTIOW tie This Ordinance, together with the names of the members of
the City Council voting for and against the same shall be published once in the
Costa Mega Globe Harald, a ncnmpaper printed and published in the County of Orange.
This Ordinance shall take effect upon the completion of publication,
