The Costa Mesa Planning Department has been notified of the completion
of your swi.�ning pool.
So that your pool will be a safe one and £or the purpose of advising
you of your responsibility re�arding the requirements of the Costa Mesa
Municipal Code, we quote Section 9298•9:
1. No swimming pool shall be constructed closer than five (5)
feet to any property lines, measured £rom water line of pool.
2. No s�.imming pool shall be constructed under any electric porrer
lines or on any electric power easement.
3• No awi�ing pool shall be constructed unless the yard
surrounding such pool is completely enclosed by a fence
six (6) feet in height and have a self-closing and
locking type �ate or gates.
This courtesy letter is directed to you so that you rrill be aware of
our ordinances and can make a complete saYety check oY your pool area.
