AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA AMENDING ORDINANCE
#32, BEING EWITLED "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA
ESTABLISHING LAND CLASSIFICATIONS IN DISTRICTS WITHIN THE
INCORPORATED TERRITORY OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, AND RNr7GIILATING
THE USES OF F ROPERTY THEREIN, ADOPTING A MAP OF SAID DISTRICTS,
DEFINING THE TMMS USED IN THIS ONRDINAN+CE, PROVIDING FOR THE
ADJUSTMENT, ENFORCEMENT AND AMZNDM1T HEREOF, PRESCRIBING PEN-
ALTIES FOR. VIOLATION HEREOF, AND REPEALING ORDINANCES AND PARTS

1 + The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does ordain as follows: -

SECTION 1. Section 10.3 of Article I of said Ordinance #32 is
hereby amended by adding thereto a new subsection as follows. -
"N' Notwithstanding any other provisions in this Ordinance, the
set back for any structure on the following described areas shall be as follows: -
1) Lot 43,Newport Heights Tract as shown on a map recorded in book
4, page 83 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California: -
a) Front yards. No building shall be erected closer than 50, to
the rmthwesTerly line of said Lot 43.
b) Side yards. Each side yard shall be not less than 35r from the
southwesterly line of said Lot 43,
2) East 17th Street between Orange Avemme and Newport Boulevard: -
a) Side yards. Each side yard shall be not less than 50t from
the centerline of East 17th Street."
SECTION 2. EWTMENT: This ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force and effect thirty (30) days after its passage, and prior to the ex -
24 piration of fifteen (15) days from its passage shall be published once in the
25 ! Costa Mesa Globe Herald, a newspaper of general circulation, printed and pub -
26 lished in the City of Costa Mesa, together with the names of the members of the
27 City Council voting for and against the same.
