RESOLUTION NO. 93-22
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, INITIATING
PROCEEDINGS FOR RENEWAL OF CITY OF COSTA
MESA LANDSCAPING ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 2.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972, the City Council
adopted Resolution No. 79-84 on June 28, 1979, ordering the formation of City of Costa Mesa
�. Landscaping Assessment District No. 2 and levying an assessment thereon for fiscal year 1979
through 1980; and
WHEREAS, Streets and Highways Code Section 22620 et seq. requires annual renewal
of assessment districts formed, pursuant to the provisions of the Landscaping and Lighting Act
of 1972;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA
MESA does hereby find, determine, and resolve as follows:
1. No new improvements nor substantial changes in existing improvements are
proposed for City of Costa Mesa Landscaping Assessment District No. 2;
2. The Project Manager is hereby directed to prepare and file with the City Council
the report as defined in Section 22565 through and including Section 22574 of the
California Streets and Highways Code with respect to said district;
3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of April, 1993.
