AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3.2 OF ARTICLE III OF ORDINANCE NO. 32
OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE
CITY OF COSTA MESA, ESTABLISHING LAND CLASSI,ICATIONS IN DISTRICTS WITHIN
THE INCORPORATE') TERRITORY OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, REGULATING THE USE
OF PROPERTY THEREIN, ADOPTING A MAP OF SAID DISTRICTS, DEFINING THE TERMS
USED IN THIS ORDINANCE, PROVIDING FOR THE ADJUSTMENT, ENFORCEMENT AND
AMEIDMENT HEREOF, PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION HEREOF, AND REPEAL-
INq ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT WITH AND IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH.
The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 3.2 of Article III of
Ordinance No. 32 of the City of Costa Mesa, all that portion of the following described
premises is hereby placed and included in the R-2 Zone, to -wit:
The northerly 150 feet of Lots 28, 29 and 30 of Fo,.mtaints Addition to
Fairview and that portion of Plum Street and Citrus Street adjoining, and
the northerly 150 feet of the Griffith Subdivision, excepting therefrom
the easterly 514 feet thereof, as shown on a map recorded in Book 2, Page
137, Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County.
SECTION 2. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 3.2 of Article III
of Ordinance No. 32 of the City of Costa Mesa, all that portion of the following des-
cribed premises is hereby placed and included in the M -1-A Zone, to -wit:
The southerly 166 feet of the northerly 316 feet of the westerly 307
feet of the George W. Griffith Subdivision as shown on a map thereof
recorded in Book 4, Pale 26, of Miscellaneous Maps, Orange County,
California.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force thirty (30)
days from and after its passage; and prior to the expiration of fifteen (15) days from
the passage thereof, this Ordinance, together with the names of the members of the City
Council voting for and against the same, shall be published once in the Costa Mesa
Globe -Herald, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in the City of
Costa Mesa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of October, 1957.
