HomeMy WebLinkAbout185 - Establishing Planning Commission and its Powers and DutiesORDINANCE N0. 185 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY CF COSTA MESA AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 22, BEING ENTITLED, "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA ESTABLISH- ING A PLANNING COMMISSION FOR SAID CITY, AND ESTABLISHING ITS POWERS AND DUTIES." The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does ordain as follows: SECTION 1. Section 9 of Ordinance No. 22 is hereby amended to read as follows: "SECTION 9. FEE. Each member of the Planning Commission, excluding ex - officio members, shall be entitled to receive the sum of #5.00 for each meeting attended 'of the Commission, including Executive Sessions, not to exceed five meet- ings for any one calendar month." SECTION 2. ENACTMENT. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force thirty (30) days from and after its passage, and prior to the expiration of fifteen (15) days from its passage shall be published once in the Costa Mesa Globe Herald, a newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in the City of Costa Mesa, together with the names of the members of the City Council voting for and against the same: PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of October, 1957 ATTEST: A 0.
