HomeMy WebLinkAbout186 - Rezone #32, Gisler Annex to M1 and M1-AORDINANCE NO. 186 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3.2 OF ARTICLE III OF ORDINANCE NO. 32 OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, ESTABLISHING LAND CLASSIFICATIONS IN DISTRICTS WITHIN THE INCORPORATED TERRITORY OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA REGULATING THE USE OF PROPERTY THEREIN, ADOPTING A MAP OF SAID DISTRICTS, DEFINING THE TERMS USED IN THIS ORDINANCE, PROVIDING FOR THE ADJUSTMENT, ENFORCE- MENT AND AMENDMENT HEREOF, PRESCRIBING PENALTIr,S FOR VIOLATION HEREOF, AND REPEALING ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT AND IN CONFLICT HEREWITH". The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does ordain as follows: SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 3.2 of Article III of Ordinance No. 32 of the City of Costa Mesa, California, all that portion of the follow- ing described premises is hereby placed and included in the M -1-A Zone, to -wits That certain strip of land bounded on the South by the centerline of Gisler Avenue; on the West by the east line of the Santa Ana River; on the North by a line parallel to and three hundred and thirty feet ( 3300 north of the said centerline of Gisler Avenue; and on the East by the west line of Harbor Boulevard. SECTION 2. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 3.2 of Article III of Ordinance Noo 32 of the City of Costa Mesa, California, all that portion of the follow- ing described premises is hereby placed and included in the M-1 Zone, to -wit: All that certain area known and designated as Talbert Annexation, EXCEPTING therefrom the strip of land hereinabove described and designated as a M -1-A Zone, SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force thirty (30) days from and after its passage; and prior to the expiration of fifteen (15) days from the passage thereof, this Ordinance, together with the names of the members of the City Council voting for and aga-linst the same, shall be published once in the Costa Mesa Globe -Herald, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in the City of Costa Mesa.
