91-29 - Vehicle Access to Sakioka Drive

RESOLUTION NO. 91-29 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, ALLOWING VEHICLE ACCESS TO SAKIOKA DRIVE FROM A PRIVATE STREET LOCATED ON LOT ONE OF TRACT NO. 10950. WHEREAS, the City of Costa Mesa proposes to construct a Fire Station on the parcel described in the attached Exhibit A, "Parcel One"; and WHEREAS, on February 19, 1991, the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa approved an easement for a private roadway known as Avenue "A", owned by Sakioka Farms, a general partnership, located adjacent to said Parcel One, as more particularly described in Exhibits B and C attached hereto and made a part hereof, for the purpose of ingress and egress onto said Parcel One; and WHEREAS, vehicle access rights to Sakioka Drive were released and relinquished to the City of Costa Mesa, except at the street intersections of Sunflower Avenue and Anton Boulevard as shown on Tract No. 10950, a map recorded in Book 515, Pages 1 through 8 inclusive, of maps, in the office of the County Recorder of Orange County, and except at approved driveway locations; and WHEREAS, there are currently no vehicle access rights from Sakicka Drive to Avenue "A" described in Exhibits B and C; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa hereby releases and relinquishes vehicle access rights from Sakicka Drive to Avenue "A" described in Exhibits B and C. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa hereby requests the recordation of this resolution at the office of the County Recorder for the County of Orange.
