HomeMy WebLinkAbout91-84 - Grant Application for Measure M Super Street FundsI RESOLUTION NO. 91-84 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, TO SUBMIT A GRANT APPLI- CATION FOR MEASURE M SUPER STREET FUNDS. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOW: WHEREAS, the City of Costa Mesa desires to maintain and improve the streets and roadways within its jurisdiction; and WHEREAS, the City supports regional coordination of transportation improvements; and WHEREAS, the City desires to use Measure M funds for transportation maintenance and improvement projects; and WHEREAS, Harbor Boulevard between Imperial Highway and the Route 55 Freeway (extended) in Costa Mesa has been designated as a Super Street; and WHEREAS, the cities of Anaheim, Costa Mesa, Fountain Valley, Fullerton, Garden Grove, La Habra, Santa Ana, and the County of Orange are interested in preparing a cooperative study to implement the Harbor Boulevard Super Street Project; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa hereby endorses submittal of grant applications for Measure M Super Street funds to further the implementation of the Harbor Boulevard Super Street Project.
