The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does ordain as follows: Section 1. A certain document on file in the office of the City Clerk, consisting of three copies in book form, being marked and designated: "Orange County Land Use Ordinance No. 351, as amended to January 1, 195211, as amended to Earch 24, 1953, is hereby adopted as the Ordinance of the City of Costa Nesa establishing land classifications and districts in the City of Costa Mesa and regulating the uses of nroperty therein, adopting sectional maps of said districts, def-.,inC.- terms u^Pd in said ordinance, Tr oviding for the adjustment, enforcement and amendment thereof and prescribing penalties for its violation, as though fully set forth herein. Section 2. This ordinance is an ordinance for the immediate ;)reservation of the public peace, health and safety, and the following is a declaration of the facts constituting the urgency: The City of Costa 11/esa, a municipal corporation, became duly incorporated on the 29th day of June, 1953. On said elate, the rules -nd regulations of the County of Orange that were in effect and operative in the area within the boundaries of the present City of Costa 14esa are in question by reason of the incorporation of the City. In order that the public will be protected immediately, it is necessary- that this ordinance be adopted as an urgency measure. Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately, and within fifteen (15) days shall be posted in three public places in the City of Costa Iiesa, together with the .names of the members of the City Council voting for and against the same.
