HomeMy WebLinkAbout891 - Declaring Portion of Adams Street to be a Major City StreetI RESOLUTION N0. 891 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA DECLARING ADAMS STREET BETWEEN HARBOR BOULEVARD AND MESA VERDE DRIVE TO RE A MAJOR CITY STREET. WHEREAS, that certain portion of Adams Street lying between Harbor Boulevard and Mesa Verde Drive is a traffic artery within the City of Costa Mesa, and also a portion of a traffic route connecting two cities; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that in accordance with the provisions of Section 2052 and 2053, Chapter II, Division 3 of the Streets and Highways Code, the following described street in the City of Costa Mesa, County of Orange, State of California, is hereby declared to be a major city street and to became and be a part of the system of major city streets, to wit: All that portion of Adams Street between Harbor Boulevard and Mesa Verde Drive lying within the City of Costa Mesa. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and he is hereby authorized and instructed to file a Certified Copy of this Resolution in the Office of the State Highway Department of the State of California, the approval of the Department of Public Works being hereby requested.
