OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA ADOPTING AND SUBMITTING A BUD- GET FOR EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS ALLOCATED FROM THF SM HIGHWAY FUND TO CITIES. WHEREAS, a master agreement has been executed by the City and the State of California on February 20, 1961, and March 8, 1961, for expenditure '--% of funds allocated from the State highway Hind to cities; and WHEREAS, the city council has prepared a project statement show- ing estimated expenditures of such funds recommended to be made during the 1961- 1962 fiscal year; and, WHEREAS, the city council has heard read said project statement and is familiar with the contents thereof; THIU'ORE, HE IT RESOLVED, by the city council of the City of Costa Mesa that said project statement No. 2 be and it is hereby adopted as the budget of proposed expenditures of the gas tax allocation to cities, said project statement be and the same is hereby approved and the City Engineer is directed to sign the same on behalf of said City, and said project statement to be submitted to the Department of Public Works, State of California, in accordance with the provisions of Section 197 of the Streets and Highways Code.
