HomeMy WebLinkAbout62-28 - Changing Name of Portions of Sierks Street to "Melody Lane"REsoumoN N0. 62-28 A RESOUJTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA CHANGING THE NAME OF THAT PORTION OF SIERKS STREET LYING WITHIN FATS 211. AND 221 OF NEWPORT HEIGHTS TRACT TO "MELODY LAME". WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Costa Mesa has recommended to this City Council that the name of SIERILS STREET lying within Lots 211 and 221 of Newport Heights Tract be changed to "MELODY LANE"; and WHEREAS, said portion of SIERKS STREET is a cul-de-sac unconnected with the street of the same novae lying easterly thereof, and said proposed name change would eliminate confusion; and WHEREAS, this City Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City that said street name be changed as recommended by the Planning Commission. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa that the name of that portion of SIERKS STREET lying within Lots 211 and 221 of Newport Heights Tract be, and the same is hereby, changed to '74ELODY LANE .
