RESOLUTION No. 62-105
A RESOLUTION OF THE C17Y COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA
ORDERING THE VACATION OF THAT PORTION OF ALISO AVENUE BETWEEN
EAST TWENTIETH STREET AND ESTHER STREET IN THE CITY OF COSTA MESA.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa did, on the 21st day
of May, 1962, pass and adopt Resolution No. 62-75, entitled: A RESOLUTION OF
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER
THE VACATION FOR STREET PURPOSES OF THAT PORTION OF ALISO AVENUE BETWEEN EAST
TWENTIETH STREET AND ESTHER STREET IN THE CITY OF COSTA MESA; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said Resolution of Intention the time and place for
hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation was set
for Monday, the 18th day of June, 1962, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock p.m., in
the Council Chamber at the City Hall, 695 West 19th Street, Costa Mesa, Cali-
fornia; and
WHEREAS, notices of said proposed vacation were duly and regularly
posted as required by law, all pursuant to the provisions of Division 9, Part 3,
Chapter 2 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, said date of hearing coming on regularly to be heard, all
persons appearing on the proposed vacation were heard, and said hearing Was
continued, and all other persons appearing on the proposed vacation were heard,
and said hearing was closed on this 6th day of August, 1962; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa finds and determines,
from all the evidence submitted, that the hereinafter described right of way is
unnecessary for present or prospective street or alley purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA DOES ORDER
AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the hereinafter described right of way is unnecessary for present
or prospective street or alley purposes.
2. It is hereby ordered that the following described right of way, commonly
known and referred to as " Aliso Avenue", running between East 20th Street and
Esther Street, be, and the same is hereby, vacated:

That portion of Tract No. 641 as shown on a map thereof recorded in
J
Book 31, page 40, Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, Cali-
fornia, lying northwesterly of Lots 10 and 11 of said Tract.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of August, 1962.
