A RESOLUTION OF TIE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA
MESA ORDERING THE VACATION OF UTILITY EASEMENTS WESTERLY
OF HARBOR BOULEVARD AND EASTERLY OF TRACT NO. 2822 FOR
A DISTANCE OF 531 FEET.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa did, on the 18th
day of June, 1962, pass and adopt Resolution No. 62-90, entitled: "A RESOLUTION
FOR A DISTANCE OF 531 FEET"; and:
WHEREAS, pursuant to said Resolution of Intention the time and place
for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation was
set for Monday, the 2nd day of July, 1962, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock, p.m.,
in the Council Chamber at the Costa Mesa City Hall, 695 West 19th Street, Costa
Mesa, California; and
WHEREAS, notices of said proposed vacation were duly and regularly
posted as required by law, all pursuant to the provisions of Article 5, Chapter 2,
Division 1, Title 5, of the Government Code of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, said date of hearing coming on regularly to be heard, all
/ persons appearing on the proposed vacation were heard; and
i WHEREAS, the City Council finds and determines, from all the evidence
Lsubmitted that the hereinafter described utility easements are unnecessary for
present or prospective utility purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, TBE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA DOES ORDER
AM RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the hereinafter described utility easements are unnecessary for
present or prospective utility purposes.
2. It is hereby ordered that the following described utility easements
be, and the same are hereby, vacated:
All utility easements westerly of the west line of Harbor Boulevard, as
now established, and easterly of the east line of Tract No. 2822, as
shown on a map thereof recorded in Miscellaneous Maps Book 116, page 3,
records of Orange County, California, for a distance of 531 feet, more
or less, beginning at a point 347.63 feet north of the centerline of
Ponderosa Street, as now established.
