RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA,
CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING ENGINEER AND ATTORNEY IN CONNECTION
WITH DRAINAGE DISTRICT IMPROVEMENT NO. 2 (GISLER AVENUE
DRAINAGE PROJECT); ESTABLISHING THE COMPENSATION FOR SAID
ENGINEER AND ATTORNEY.
The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby resolve and
determine as follows:
SECTION 1. D. Southworth, City Engineer of the City of Costa Mesa,
is hereby appointed Engineer of Work for Drainage District Improvement No. 2
(Assessment District No. 12).
The compensation to be paid said Engineer is as follows:
A. For construction, plans, specifications and cost estimate,
assessment diagram, rights of way maps, descriptions -- 6% of the cost of
construction.
B. For construction inspection and supervision, construc-
tion staking and final cost preparation -- 4% of cost of construction.
C. For preparation of assessment, preparation of bonds
and registration -- 3% of cost of construction.
SECTION 2. Donald Dungan, City Attorney of the City of Costa Mesa,
is hereby appointed as the attorney for Drainage District Improvement No. 2
(Assessment District No. 12).

For preparing petitions, resolutions, resolution of inten-
tion, notices, hearings and all other documents and legal work in connec-
tion with said Assessment District -- 3% of cost of construction.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 19th day of November, 1962.

Council of the City of Costa Mesa, do hereby certify that at a regular
meeting of the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa, California, held
on the 19th day of November, 1962, the foregoing Resolution, being Reso-
lution No. 62-139, was considered section by section, and that said Reso-
lution was then passed and adopted as a whole by the following roll call
vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen - Meyers, Smith, Tomchak, Wilson, Pinkley
NOES: Councilmen - None
ABSENT: Councilmen - None
