A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA
COMMENDING MRS. LORRAINE LITCHFORD FOR HER LONG AND FAITHFUL
SERVICE TO THE CITY OF COSTA MESA AND EXPRESSING REGRET AT
HER RESIGNATION.
WHEREAS, MRS. LORRAINE LITCHFORD has served as Secretary of the
City Council of the City of Costa Mesa for the past five years, and has been an
employee of the City for the past seven years; and
1,iHEREAS, MRS. LITCHFORD has served this Council and the City of
Costa Mesa well and faithfully throughout this period; and
WHEREAS, this City Council has been informed of her resignation,
and wishes to express its appreciation of her service and regret at her loss;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Costa Mesa, that MRS. LORRAINE LITCHFORD be, and she is hereby, formally commended
for her long and faithful service to the City of Costa Mesa; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this City Council hereby expresses its
regret at her decision to resign; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk of the City of Costa Mesa
is hereby instructed to enter a copy of this Resolution in the permanent records of
the City of Costa, and further directed to transmit a copy of this Resolution to
MRS. LITCHFORD.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of May, 1962.
