HomeMy WebLinkAbout63-21 - Adams Ave. Drainage District No. 1 - Setting Hearing367 RESOLUTION No. 63-21 RESOILTION SETTING TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING IN THE MATTER OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS, TOGETHER WITH APPURTENANCES AND APPURTENANT WORK IN ADAMS AVENUE AND IN CERTAIN PUBLIC EASEMENTS SITUATED SOUTHERLY OF ADAMS AVENUE FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF STORM DRAINS (ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 11) IN THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA. ■■■ WHEREAS, proceedings have been instituted for this improvement under the provisions of Division 12, Streets and Highways Code (Municipal Improvement Act of 1913); and WHEREAS, Resolution of Intention No. 62-138 for this improvement was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa, California, on the 19th day of November, 1962; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the 4th day of March, 1963, at the hour of 7:30 o' clock P.M. of said day, is the day and hour, and the Council Chambers of the City Council, located in the Costa Mesa City Hall, at 695 West 19th Street, Costa Mesa, California, is the place fixed by the Council for hearing protests in relation to the proposed improvement. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to give Notice of said hearing by causing to be conspicuously posted on all open streets within the district, not more than 300 feet apart on each street so posted, but not less than three in all, Notice of the passage of the Resolution of Intention and of this Resolution, all in accordance with the provisions of said Division 12. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to give Notice of said hearing and of the passage of the Resolution of Intention, and of the Resolution by causing such Notice to be published by two (2) consecutive insertions in the Orange Coast Daily Pilot, a newspaper published and circulated in the City of Costa Mesa, which is hereby designated by said Council for that purpose, all in accordance with the provisions of said Division 12. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to mail notices of said hearing names and addresses appear on the last equalized assessment roll for City pur- poses prior thereto or as known to the Clerk, and to all other persons as pre- scribed and in accordance with the provisions of said Division 12. and the adoption of the Resolution of Intention, and of the filing of the "report" to all persons owning real property proposed to be assessed whose names and addresses appear on the last equalized assessment roll for City pur- poses prior thereto or as known to the Clerk, and to all other persons as pre- scribed and in accordance with the provisions of said Division 12.
