RESOLUTION No. 63-32
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA
CALIFORNIA, CONFIRMING ASSESSMENT ON IMPROVEMENTS MADE IN
ADAMS AVENUE AND IN CERTAIN PUBLIC EASEMENTS (ASSESSMENT
DISTRICT NO. 11) IN SAID CITY: ORDERING THE WORK DESCRIBED
IN RESOLUTION OF INTENTION No. 62-138, AND DECLARING ITS
ACTION UPON THE REPORT.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa, California, did on the
19th day of November, 1962, adopt its Resolution of Intention No. 62-138 for the
construction of certain improvements in Assessment District No. 11 in said City;
and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said Resolution of Intention No. 62-138 a Report as
therein provided was presented and considered by this Council; and
WHEREAS, this Council has heard and considered all protests and a full
hearing having been given all in the manner provided by law,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA
MESA, CALIFORNIA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That all protests and objections we hereby overruled and denied.
SECTION 2. That the Report, the Assessment and Diagram for the improvements in
Assessment District No. 11 are hereby confirmed.
SECTION 3• That the public interest and convenience require the proposed im-
provement to be made and therefore said City Council hereby orders the following
work to be done and improvements to be made, to wit:
The construction of certain storm drains, together with catch basins, manholes,
necessary outlet structures, rock slope protection, together with all necessary
appurtenances and appurtenant work in the following described streets and easements;
(a) Adams Avenue between approximately Mesa Verde Drive and the Northerly
prolongation of Placentia Avenue;
(b) The public easement for storm drain purposes running approximately
along the prolongation of Placentia Avenue from Adams Avenue to the Northerly
boundary of the Fairview State Hospital property;
(c) The public easement for storm drain purposes running from the Northerly
boundary of said Fairview State Hospital property Southeasterly to the existing
D-4 Storm Drain Channel; and
(d) The public easement for storm drain purposes running Southerly
from Adams Avenue along the prolongation of Mesa Verde Drive;
For further particulars reference is hereby made to said Resolution of In-
tention No. 62-138 and to the Report on file and herein confirmed.
SECTION 4. That the Treasurer of the City of Costa Mesa is hereby
authorized and directed to establish a special fund account to be known as
"IMPROVEMENT FUND FOR ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. ll", into which shall be paid all
payments to be received upon said assessment, and the proceeds of the sale of
bonds to be issued representing unpaid assessments.
SECTION 5• That the assessment contained in said Report is hereby levied
upon the respective subdivisions of land in the Assessment District as set
forth in the said Report.

Resolution, being Resolution No. 63-32, was duly passed, approved and adopted
by said City Council, approved and signed by the Mayor, and attested by the
City Clerk all at a regular meeting of said City Council held on the 4th day
of March, 1963s and that the same was passed and adopted by the following vote,
to wit:
