RESOLUTION NO. 63-17
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA,
APPOINTING ENGINEER AND ATTORNEY IN CONNECTION WITH THE COSTA MESA
SHOPPING CENTER DISTRICT IMPROVEMENT; AND ESTABLISHING THE COMPENSATION
FOR SAID ENGINEER AND ATTORNEY.
The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby resolve and
determine as follows:
SECTION 1. D. Southworth, City Engineer of the City of Costa Mesa, is
hereby appointed Engineer of Work for the Costs Mesa Shopping Center District
Improvement (Assessment District No. 13)•
SECTION 2. The compensation to be paid said Engineer is as follows:
A. For construction, plans, specifications and cost estimate,
assessment diagram, rights of way maps, descriptions -- 6% of the cost of
construction.
B. For construction inspection and supervision, construction staking
and final cost preparation -- 4% of cost of construction.
C.
For preparation of assessment, preparation of bonds and bond
registration
-- 3% of cost of construction.

Improvement (Assessment District No. 13).
SECTION 4. The compensation to be paid to said attorney for his services
is as follows:
For preparing petition, resolutions, resolution of intention, notices,
hearings, negotiations and condemnation of acquisitions and all documents and
legal work in connection therewith -- 3% of the total cost of construction.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 28th day of January, 1963.

of the City of Costa Mesa, do hereby certify that at an adjourned regular
meeting of the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa, California, held on
the 28th day of January, 1963, the foregoing Resolution, being Resolution
No. 63-17, was considered section by section, and that said Resolution was
then passed and adopted as a whole by the following roll call vote, to wit:

NOES: Councilmen - None
ABSENT: Councilmen - None
