HomeMy WebLinkAbout63-56 - Gas Tax - Adopting Project Statement E-6RESOLUTION N0. 63-56 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA ADOPTING AND SUBMITTING A BUDGET FOR EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS ALLOCATED FROM THE STATE HIGHWAY FUND TO CITIES. WHEREAS, a master agreement has been executed by the City and the State of California on Frebruary 16, 1961, and March 7, 1961, for expenditure of funds allocated from the State Highway fund to cities; and WHEREAS, the City Council has prepared a Project Statement showing estimated expenditures of such Hinds recommended to be made during the 1963- 1964 fiscal year; and WHEREAS, the City Council has heard and read said Project statement and is familiar with the contents thereof; THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa that said Project Statement No. E-6 be and it is hereby adopted as the budget of proposed expenditures of the gas tax allocation to cities, said project statement be and the same is hereby approved and the city engineer is directed to sign the same on behalf of said City, and said Project Statement is to be sub- mitted to the Department of Public Works, State of California, in accordance with the provisions of Section 197 of the Streets and Highways Code.
