RESOLUTION No. 65-24
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA
APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN THE DEPARTMENT OF
FINANCE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA AND THE CITY OF COSTA MESA
FOR THE PREPARATION OF AN ESTIMATE OF POPULATION AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO SIGN THE AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council of the City of
Costa Mesa a certain agreement by and between the Department of Finance of
the State of California, and the City of Costa Mesa, for the preparation of
an estimate of the population of said City; and
WHEREAS, this Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City
that said agreement, which is attached to and by this reference made a part
of this Resolution, be approved, ratified and confirmed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BETT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Costa
Mesa that said agreement by and between the Department of Finance of the State
of California and the City of Costa Mesa, for the preparation of an estimate
of population of said City, be, and the same is hereby approved, ratified
and confirmed; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of
Costa Mesa are hereby authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of the
City.
