HomeMy WebLinkAbout63-92 - Fairview Road Improvement District - Payment of Public AgenciesM RESOLUTION N0. 63-92 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TTID CITY OF COSTA bT;SA, CALIFORNIA, A'!1'HO.=INC TTJH1 PAYI-.IET OF ASS,ESSFTNTS ON PARCELS OF LAPID OICILD BY PJDLIC A'ENCTES IN CONNECTION WITH ^_IIE FAIRVIEW ROAD IJFROVEICINT DISTRICT. 4THEREAS, Lire City Council of tine City of Costa _less, did on the l7t day of J.me, 1..63, adopt a Resolition of intention No. 63-68, in connection with Fairview ;'oad Imp -oveaent District (Assessment District No. 10), and 5T^REAS, said Resolition of Intention No. 63-68 made no declaration regarding the exclr.sion of p.Ablic propeites from tie assessment, and WHEREAS, tz.e ee is included wit!'.in t,.e bo. ndaries of tie Assessment District proposed to :;e assessed land owned by public atencies, to wit, the State of California, Orane Coast Colle.e District, Newport Harbor Union High School District, and Costa Mesa Inion So':ool District, and WHEREAS, it is the intention of the City Coancil of t.,e City of Costa Hesa to pay said assessments on all of he aforesaid parcels of land owned by public agencies included within the assessment district immediately upon the expiration Of Zlirty (30) days after the date of recording the assessment on all assessments not paid wit:, in said U irty-day period by the pablic agencies, and to enforce the collection tareof against said public agencies, except the parcel owned by tae State of California, p.trsuant to Section 5302-5 of tyre Streets and Highways Code of the State of California. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Coancil of ins, City of Costa Mesa does hereby resolve and determine as follows: SECTION 1. That the assessments assessed against parcels of lands owned by public agencies, to wit, the State of California, Orange Coast College Dist, ict, Newport Harbor Union High School District, and Costa Mesa Union School District, not paid by the respective public agencies within thirty days after the date of recording of the assessment, s..all be paid by the City of Costa Mesa immediately after the expiration of said thirty day -period and shall thereafter, except as to the land owned by the State of California, proceed to collect tine said assessments, pursuant to the provisions of Section 5302.5 of tt:e Streets and Highways Code of the State of California. SECTIC14 2. That the City of Costa Mesa has sufficient fluids on hand to pay said assessments above referred to as the same have been estimated. FiQ PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of August, 1563.
