RESOLUTION NO. 63-97
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA
DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER THE VACATION FOR STREET
PURPOSES OF A CERTAIN PORTION OF HARBOR BOULEVARD AT ADAMS
AVENUE IN THE CITY OF COSTA MESA.
The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby declare
its intention to vacate those certain rights of way for street purposes described
as follows:
A strip of land ten (10) feet in width lying within Blocks
K and 0 of Fairview in the City of Costa Mesa, County of
Orange, State of California, as per map recorded in Book 25,
Pages 76, 77, and 78 of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles
County, California, the boundary of said strip being more
particularly described as follows:
PARCEL NO. 1 - Beginning at a point in the south line of Lot
10, Block K of said Fairview distant thereon East, 60.00 feet
from the centerline of Harbor Boulevard (formerly Fairview
Avenue); thence East, along said south line of Lot 10, 10.00
feet; thence South 00 05' 40" West parallel with the center-
line of Harbor Boulevard and 70.00 feet easterly thereof,
measured at right angles, 104.98 feet to a point in a non -
tangent curve, concave northeasterly, having a radius of 25.00
feet and from which a radial line bears North 360 57' 50" East;
thence northwesterly and northerly along said curve through a
central angle of 530 07' 50", an arc distance of 23.18 feet to
the beginning of a tangent line, said line being parallel with
the centerline of Harbor Boulevard and 60.00 feet easterly
thereof, measured at right angles; thence North 00 05' 40"
East along said parallel line, 84.96 feet to the point of
beginning.
PARCEL NO. 2 - Beginning at a point in the south line of Lot 9,
Block 0 of said Fairview, distant thereon East, 60.00 feet from the
centerline of Harbor Boulevard (formerly Fairview Avenue); thence
East, along said south line of Lot 99 10.00 feet; thence North
00 05' 40" East, parallel with the centerline of Harbor Boulevard
and 70.00 feet easterly thereof, measured at right angles, 105.02
feet to a point in a non -tangent curve, concave southeasterly,
having a radius of 25.00 feet and from which a radial line bears
South 360 46' 33" East; thence southwesterly and southerly along
said curve through a central angle of 530 07' 47" an arc distance
of 23.18 feet to the beginning of a tangent line, said line being
parallel with the centerline of Harbor Boulevard and 60.00 feet
easterly thereof, measured at right angles; thence South 00 05'
40" West, along said parallel line, 85.04 feet to the point of
beginning.
SECTION 2. Monday, the 7th day of October, 1963, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock,
p.m., in the Council Chamber at the Costa Mesa City Hall, 695 West 19th Street,
Costa Mesa, California, is hereby fixed as the time and place for hearing all
persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation.
SECTION 3. The City Manager of the City of Costa Mesa is hereby directed to
cause notices of the said proposed vacation to be conspicuously posted along said
strips of land for at least ten (10) days before the date of said hearing. Said

notices shall be posted not more than three hundred (300) feet apart, but in
no event shall less than three (3) notices be posted.
SECTION 4. This Resolution shall be published once in the ORANGE COAST
DAILY PILOT, a newspaper of general circulation printed in the City of Costa
Mesa, County of Orange, State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of September, 1963.

of the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa, hereby certify that the above and
foregoing Resolution No. 63-97 was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Costa Mesa at a regular meeting of said Council
held on the 3rd day of September, 1963.
