RESOLUTION N0. 63-112
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA,
CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER THE VACATION OF
A PARCEL OF LAND LOCATED AT THE NORTH END OF ALISO AVIINE,
The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby resolve as
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby
declare its intention to vacate those certain rights of way for street pur-
poses described as follows:
All that certain real property situated in the City of
Costa Mesa, County of Orange, State of California, being a por-
tion of Lot 237 as shown on a map of Newport Heights, recorded
in book 4, page 83, Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
said real property being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the most southerly corner of said Lot 237;
thence North 400 00' 00" East along the southeasterly line of
said Lot 237, 154.99 feet to the true point of beginning, said
true point of beginning being a point on a curve, concave southerly,
having a radius of 40.00 feet. a radial line from said curve at
said point bears south 400 00' 00" West; thence northwesterly,
westerly and southwesterly along said curve through a central
angle of 950 36' 09", an are length of 66.74 feet to a point of
cusp, said point being a point on a curve, concave southerly,
having a radius of 40.00 feet, a radial line from said curve
at said point bears South 440 23' 51" East; thence northeasterly,
easterly and southeasterly along said curve, through a central
angle of 840 23' 51", an arc length of 58.92 feet to a point which
bears South 400 00' 00" West, 7.81 feet from the true point of
beginning; thence North 400 00' 00" East, 7.81 feet to the true
point of beginning.
Containing 308.9 square feet, more or less
SECTION 2. Monday, the 16th day of December, 1963, at the hour of
7:30 o'clock p.m., in the Council Chamber at the Costa Mesa City Hall, 695
West 19th Street, Costa Mesa, California, is hereby fixed as the time and
place for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed va-
cation. y
SECTION 3. The City Manager of the City of Costa Mesa is hereby
directed to cause notices of the said proposed vacation to be conspicuously
posted along said strip of land for at least ten (10) days before the date of
said hearing. Said notices shall be posted not more than three hundred (300)
feet apart, but in no event shall less than three (3) notices be posted.
SECTION 4. This Resolution shall be published once in the Orange
Coast Daily Pilot, a newspaper of general circulation printed in the City of
Costa Mesa, County of Orange, State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of November, 1963•
