Resolution No. 64-1
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA
INCLUDING CERTAIN PROPERTIES IN THE 1964-1965 TAX LEVY FOR
THE COSTA MESA STREET LIGHTING DISTRICT.
The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby resolve and determine
that the hereinafter described lands shall be included in the tax levy for
the fiscal year 1964-1965 for the Costa Mesa Street Lighting District.
Said parcels are as set forth and described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto
and made a part hereof.

"Aliso No. 1 Annexation"
Beginning at a point in the existing boundary of the City of Costa
Mesa as said existing boundary is described in the Underwood Annexa-
tion to the City of Costa Mesa, California, Ordinance No. 205, adopted
June 16, 1958, said point being the intersection of the northwesterly
line of Tustin Avenue, 60 feet in width, as shown on a map of Newport
Heights, recorded in Book 4, page 83 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records
of Orange County, California, with a line 110.00 feet southwesterly
of and parallel with the northeasterly line of Lot 227 of said Newport
Heights; thence departing from the existing boundary of the City of
Costa Mesa, north 400 East, along said northwesterly line of Tustin
Avenue, 110.00 feet, to the northwesterly prolongation of the north-
easterly line of said Lot 227; thence South 500 East, along said north-
westerly prolongation of the northeasterly line of Lot 227 and the
northeasterly line of Lot 227, 228.00 feet, to the northwesterly line
of the southeasterly 102.00 feet of the northwesterly 270 feet of the
southwesterly one-half of Lot 237 of said Newport Heights; thence North
400 East, along said northwesterly line, 165.07 feet, to the north-

Orange County, California and the existing boundary of the City of
Costa Mesa as said existing boundary is described in the Bissell
Annexation to the City of Costa Mesa, Cal'fornia, Ordinance No. 117,
adopted January 16, 1956; thence North 50 West, along said north-
easterly line of Tract No. 2992 and said existing boundary of the
City of Costa Mesa, 150.03 feet, to the easterly corner of said Lot
227 of Newport Heights; thence South 400 West, along the southeasterly
line of said Lot 227, 110.00 feet, to the southwesterly line of
northeasterly rectangular 110 feet of said Lot 227 and the existing
boundary of the City of Costa Mesa, as described in said Underwood

"Emerson No. 1 Annexation"
Beginning at a point in the existing boundary of the City of Costa Mesa
as said existing boundary is described in the Aliso No. 1 Annexation
to the City of Costa Mesa, California, Ordinance No. 63-22, adopted June
3, 1963, said point being the intersection of the northwesterly line of
Tustin Avenue, 60 feet in width, as shown on a map of Newport Heights,
recorded in Book 4, page 83 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange
County, California, with the northwesterly prolongation of the north-
easterly line of Lot 227 of Newport Heights; thence departing from the
existing boundary of the City of Costa Mesa, North 400 East, along said
northwesterly line of Tustin Avenue, 165.07 feet, to the northwesterly
prolongation of the northeasterly line of the southwesterly one-half of
Lot 237 of Newport Heights; thence South 500 East, along last mentioned
northeasterly line, 228.00 feet, to the northwesterly line of the south-
easterly 102.00 feet of the northwesterly 270 feet of the southwesterly
one-half of Lot 237 of said Newport Heights and the existing boundary of

"Monte Vista No. 2 Annexation"
Beginning at an angle point in the existing boundary of the City
of Costa Mesa, as said boundary is described in the Monte Vista
No. 1 Annexation to the City of Costa Mesa, California, Ordinance
Number 62-19, adopted May 20, 1962, said point being the inter-
section of a line 30.00 feet northwesterly of, measured at right
angles, and parallel to the southeasterly line of Lot 714, Tract
No. 300, as shown on a map thereof, recorded in Book 14, pages 11
and 12 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California,
with the northeasterly line of Lot 105 of said Tract No. 300; thence,
departing from said existing boundary, South 390 48' 45" West,
along said parallel line, 132.00 feet; thence North 500 11' 45"
West, 300.00 feet; thence North 390 48' 45" East, 132.00 feet, to
the northeasterly line of said Lot 105, Tract No. 300 and said
existing boundary of the City of Costa Mesa; thence South 500 11' 45"
East, along the northeasterly line of said Lot 105 and said existing
boundary of the City of Costa Mesa, 300.00 feet to the point of
beginning.
"Santa Isabel Annexation No. 1"
Beginning at the intersection of Santa Ana Avenue, 60 feet in width,
with the center line of Santa Isabel Avenue, 50 feet in width, as
said intersection is shown on a map of Tract No. 300, recorded in
Book 14, pages 11 and 12 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange
County, California; thence South 500 11' 45" East, along the center
line of said Santa Isabel Avenue, 30.00 feet, to a line 30 feet
southeasterly of, measured at right angles, and parallel with the
center line of said Santa Ana Avenue; thence South 390 48' 45" West,
along said parallel line, 25.00 feet, to an angle point in the exist-
ing boundary of the City of Costa Mesa as said existing boundary is
described in the Monte Vista No. 1 Annexation to the City of Costa
Mesa, California, Ordinance No. 62-19, adopted May 20, 1962, sai
point being the true point of beginning of the land herein descrid
bed;

right angles, and parallel with the center line of said Santa Isabel

North 500 11' 45" West, 120.00 feet, to a line 30.00 feet south-
easterly of, measured at right angles, and parallel with the center
line of said Santa Ana Avenue and the existing boundary of the City
of Costa Mesa, as said boundary is described in the Official Description
of the Original Boundary of the City of Costa Mesa, California, in a
resolution of the Board of Supervisors, Orange County, California,
dated June 25, 1953, filed and accepted by the Secretary of State,
State of California, June 29, 1953; thence North 390 48' 45" East,
along last mentioned parallel line and said Original Boundary of the
City of Costa Mesa, 121.00 feet to the true point of beginning.
"Woodland No. 1 Annexation"
Beginning at a point on the northeasterly line of 20th Street, 60
feet in width, as shown on a map of Newport Heights, recorded in
Book 4, page 82 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
California, and the existing boundary of the City of Costa Mesa,
as described in the official description of the original boundary
line of the City of Costa Mesa in a Resolution of the Board of
Supervisors, Orange County, California, dated June 25, 1963, filed
and accepted by the Secretary of State, State of California, June
29, 1953, said point being distant thereon South 500 East, 538.00
feet from the center line of Santa Ana Avenue; thence departing
from said existing boundary of the City of Costa Mesa, North 400
East, 300.15 feet to the northeasterly line of Lot 215 of Newport
Heights; thence South 500 East, along the northeasterly line of
Lot 215 of Newport Heights; thence South 500 East, along the

northeasterly line of said Lot 215 and the northeasterly line of
Lot 216 of said Newport Heights, 276.00 feet; thence South 400
West, 300.15 feet to a point in the existing boundary of the City
of Costa Mesa as said boundary is described in the official descrip-
tion of the original boundary line of the City of Costa Mesa in a
Resolution of the Board of Supervisors, Orange County, California,
dated June 25, 1953, filed and accepted by the Secretary of State,
State of California, June 29, 1953, said point also being on a line
30.00 feet northeasterly of, and parallel with the center line of
