A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA,
CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER THE VACATION OF
A PORTION OF LOT 75, FAIRVIEW FARMS, IN THE CITY OF COSTA MESA.
The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby declare
its intention to vacate that certain right of way for street purposes described
as follows:
The southerly 10.00 feet of the northerly 50.00 feet of that portion
of Lot 75, Fairview Farms, as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book
8, page 71 of Miscellaneous Naps, records of Orange County, California,
described as follows:
Beginning at the southeast corner of said Lot 75; thence westerly along
the south line of said Lot 75, a distance of 108 feet; thence northerly
along a line that is parallel with and 108 feet westerly, as measured at
right angles, from the east line of said Lot 75 to a point in the center
line of Victoria Street, now known as Hamilton Street, as said center
line is described in Book 595, page 105 of Official Records of Orange
County, Calif¢ nia; thence northeasterly along said center line of
Hamilton Street, a distance of 128.69 feet to a point in the east line
of said Lot 75; thence southerly along the east line of said Lot 75, to
the south line of said Lot 75 and the point of beginning.
SECTION 2. Monday, the 2nd day of March, 1964, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock
p.m., in the Council Chamber at the Costa Mesa City Hall, 695 West 19th Street,

and place
for
hearing
all
persons interested in or
objecting to the
proposed
vacation.
SECTION 3• These proceedings shall be conducted pursuant to the provisions
of Chapter II, Part 3, Division 9, of the Streets and Highways Code of the State
of California.
SECTION 4. The City Manager of the City of Costa Mesa is hereby directed
to cause notices of the said proposed vacation to be conspicuously posted along
said strip of land for at least ten (10) days before the date of said hearing.
Said notices shall be posted not more than three hundred (300) feet apart, but
in no event shall less than three (3) notices be posted.
SECTION 5• This Resolution shall be published once in the ORANGE COAST
DAILY PILOT, a newspaper of general circulation printed in the City of Costa
Mesa, County of Orange, State of California.
EPASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of February, 1964.
