HomeMy WebLinkAbout64-10 - Gisler Drainage District - Appointing Attorney and Engineer131 RESOLUTION NO. 64-10 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING ENGINEER AND ATTORNEY IN CONNECTION WITH DRAINAGE DISTRICT IMPROVEMENT NO. 2 (GISLER AVENUE DRAINAGE PROJECT); ESTABLISHING THE COMPENSATION FOR SAID ENGINEER AND ATTORNEY. The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby resolve and determine as follows: SECTION 1. D. Southworth, City Engineer of the City of Costa Mesa, is hereby appointed Engineer of Work for Drainage District Improvement No. 2 (Assessment District No. 12). The compensation to be paid said Engineer is as follows: A. For construction, plans, specifications and cost estimate, assessment diagram, rights of way maps, descriptions -- 6% of the cost of construction and acquisition. B. For construction inspection and supervision, construction staking and final cost preparation -- 41 of the cost of construction and acquisition. C. For preparation of assessment, preparation of bonds and bond registration -- 3% of cost of construction and acquisi- tion. SECTION 2. Donald Dungan, City Attorney of the City of Costa Mesa, is hereby appointed as the attorney for Drainage District Improvement No. 2 (Assessment District No. 12). The compensation to be paid said attorney for his services is as follows: For preparing petitions, resolutions, resolution of intention, notices, hearings, and all other documents and legal work in connection with said Assessment District -- 3% of cost of construction and acquisition.
