RESOLUTION NO. 64-27
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA,
CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER THE VACATION OF
A CERTAIN DRAINAGE EASEMENT LYING WITHIN IAT 506, NEWPORT
MESA TRACT.
The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby resolve as
follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby
declare its intention to vacate that certain drainage easement described
as follows:
That portion of an easement for storm drain and incidental
purposes, described in a deed to the City of Costa Mesa,
recorded May 29, 1957, in Book 3925, page 491, Official
Records of Orange County, California, lying within Lot 506,
Newport Mesa Tract as said tract is shown on a map thereof,
recorded in Book 5, page 1 of Official Records of Orange
County, California, more particularly described as follows:
PARCEL NO. 1
The southerly 10.00 feet of the easterly 72.50 feet of the
westerly 235.00 feet of said Lot 506.
PARCEL NO. 2
The easterly 10.00 feet of the westerly 245.00 feet, EXCEPTING
the northerly 10.00 feet thereof of said Lot 506.
SECTION 2. Monday, the 20th day of April, 1964, at the hour of 7:30
o'clock p.m., in the Council Chmiber at the Costa Mesa City Hall, 695 West
19th Street, Costa Mesa, California, is hereby fixed as the time and place
for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation.
SECTION 3• These proceedings shall be conducted pursuant to the pro-
visions of Chapter II, Part 3, Division 9, of the Streets and Highways Code
of the State of California.
SECTION 4. The City Manager of the City of Costa Mesa is hereby
directed to cause notices of the said proposed vacation to be conspicuously
posted along said strip of land for at least ten (10) days before the date
of said hearing. Said notices shall be posted not more than three hundred
(300) feet in distance apart, but in no event shall less tban three (3)
notices be posted.
SECTION 5. This Resolution shall be published once in the ORANGE
COAST DAILY PILOT, a newspaper of general circulation printed in the City
of Costa Mesa, County of Orange, State of California.
