RESOLUTION N0. 64-49
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS IN-
TENTION TO ORDER THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF
LOT 1110, NEWPORT MESA TRACT, IN THE CITY OF
COSTA MESA.
The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa, does hereby resolve as
follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby
declare its intention to vacate that certain right of way for street pur-
poses described as follows:
A portion of Lot 1110, Newport Mesa Tract, in the City of Costa Mesa,
as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 5, page 1, Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California, described as:
A strip of land 25.00 feet in width being the southerly 25.00 feet of
the easterly 182.00 feet of the above described Lot 1110.
EXCEPTING that portion lying northwesterly of a curve of a 30.00 foot
radius, concave southeasterly, and tangent to the northerly line of
the above described 25.00 foot strip of land at a point 152.00 feet
westerly of the easterly line of Lot 1110.
SECTION 2. Monday, the 6th day of July, 1964, at the hour of 7:30
o'clock p.m., in the Council Chamber at the Costa Mesa City Hall, 695 West
19th Street, Costa Mesa, California, is hereby fixed as the time and place
for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation.
SECTION 3. These proceedings shall be conducted pursuant to the pro-
visions of Chapter II, Part 3, Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code
of the State of California.
SECTION 4. The City Manager of the City of Costa Mesa, is hereby
directed to cause notices of the said proposed vacation to be conspicuously
posted along said strip of land for at least ten (10) days before the date
of said hearing. Said notices shall be posted not more than three hundred
(300) feet apart, but in no event shall less than three (3) notices be
posted.
SECTION 5. This Resolution shall be published once in the ORANGE
COAST DAILY PILOT, a newspaper of general circulation printed in the City
of Costa Mesa, County of Orange, State of California.
