A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA,
ACTING AS SUPERVISING AUTHORITY OF THE COSTA MESA RECREATION
AND PARK DISTRICT, ADOPTING A PRELIMINARY BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR 1964-1965; AND SETTING TIME AND. PLACE FOR HEARING THEREON.
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council of the City of Costa
Mesa, acting as supervising authority of the Costa Mesa Recreation and Park
District, a preliminary budget for the Costa Mesa Recreation and Park District
for the fiscal year 1964-1965, a copy of which is on Me in the office of the
City Clerk of the City of Costa Mesa; and
WHEREAS, said City Council, acting as said supervising authority, has
studied and examined said preliminary budget and has estimated and determined
that the amount of money required for the District is as set forth in said budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa, acting as super-
vising authority of the Costa Mesa Recreation and Park District, does hereby re-
solve as follows:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa, acting as super-
vising authority, has estimated and determined that the annual amount of money
required for the Costa Mesa Recreation and Park District for the fiscal year
1964-1965 is the amount set forth in the Costa Mesa Recreation and Park District
preliminary budget for the fiscal year 1964-1965 on file in the office of the
City Clerk.
SECION 2. That said preliminary budget, above described, is hereby adopted
as the preliminary budget for the Costa Mesa Recreation and Park District for the
fiscal year 1964-1965•
SECTION 3• That the City Clerk shall cause to be published in the ORANGE
COAST DAILY PILOT, at least one time, a notice stating that the preliminary budget
has been adopted and is available in the office of the City Clerk of the City of
Costa Mesa, located at 695 West 19th Street, Costa Mesa, California, between the
hours of 8:00 a.m, and 5:00 p.m., Mondays through Fridays, for inspection by
interested taxpayers; and that on the 20th day of July, 1964, the City Council
of the City of Costa Mesa, acting as supervising authority of the Costa Mesa
Recreation and Park District, will hold a public tearing at its regular meeting
in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, located at 695 West 19th Street, Costa Mesa,

California, at 7:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, for the purpose of
fixing the final budget and that any taxpayer may appear and be heard regarding
the increase, decrease, or onmission of any item on the budget or for the inclusion
of additional items.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of June, 1964.
