HomeMy WebLinkAbout64-75 - Enlarging Traffic CommissionF70 RESOLUTION N0. 64-75 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, ENLARGING THE TRAFFIC COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa did, on the 18th day of May, 1959, pass and adopt Resolution No. 608 establishing a Traffic Commission and designating the duties thereof; and WHEREAS, the continued rapid growth of the City and the reorganization of City Departments requires the enlargement of the said Traffic Commission for the efficient performance of its assigned duties; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa as follows: SECTION 1. That the Traffic Commission of the City of Costa Mesa, serving without compensation, shall comprise the Director of Public Safety, the Traffic Engineer, the Assistant City Engineer, the Street Foreman, the Head of Pupil Transportation for the Costa Mesa Union School District, and such other members as may be appointed by the City Council. SECTION 2. Section 1 of Resolution No. 608 is hereby repealed. PASSED AND ADOPTED, this 3rd day of August, 1964.
